Golf Is For Everyone was born from the game that’s given me more than birdies and bogeys—it’s given me joy and taught me patience, and offered a front-row seat to the stories people tell between shots.
For me, it’s not about chasing perfection; it’s about connection. The quiet lessons learned walking down a fairway translate far beyond the course. This isn’t a brand for golfers—it’s an invitation for anyone who believes that growth, gratitude, and good company are the real rewards of the game. That golf doesn't belong to the few—it belongs to all of us.
I'm on a mission to capture and share the laughter, the lessons, and the moments that make it unforgettable. To build the largest collection of golfer voices ever archived—and I want to include your story. You don’t need to be a pro to have a story worth telling. You may think yours is ordinary, but it’s the kind of story that reminds us all why we play—and how the game shapes our lives.
You should know that I'm a writer who has dedicated decades to mastering my craft.
My passion for storytelling can be traced back to middle school when my English teacher stood in front of the class with my work raised high and announced, “This is excellent writing!” He then proceeded to lecture on why. The piece was a colorful description of a moose trekking through the snow in Yellowstone National Park. I completed the assignment using my grandfather’s old typewriter. This was 1991 before computers were mainstream in homes.
Whether as a member of my junior high school newspaper team, stints in corporate storytelling, writing for the No. 1 news website in eastern Idaho, or crafting biographies for private clients, I love a good challenge. Writing fits the bill. Something is fulfilling about turning a blank screen into a cohesive, captivating narrative on a deadline.
Over the past 15 years, some of my subjects have included homemakers, business leaders, an environmental epidemiologist, a crop duster, a tombstone designer, a 103-year-old great-great-grandma, a sushi roller, a Romanian immigrant, doctors, and many more—including a memorable story featuring legendary actor Gene Hackman.
Welcome to the community, and I look forward to telling your golf story!
